Tankerne og ventetiden:
Så er den store rejsekaos begyndt, og så vidt jeg kan forstå på et par andre gruppemedlemmer, er jeg ikke den eneste. Har dog fået lån en trekkingrygsæk, og satser nu stærkt på at jeg får styr på resten af mit pakkekaos de kommende dage - eller retter det skal jeg ;) Anyway, mens jeg sidder her i kulden og venter på at komme ned i varmen (30+ venner :D), ville jeg dele rejsens program med jer derude - det er dog skrevet på engelsk, da jeg selv fik det sådan :)
Week 1
- 9th January (Sun), Dar es Salaam: Arrive at Dar es Salaam airport. Transport to the volunteers house at Bahari Beach, Rest, swim at the beach and leisure.
- 10th January (Mon), Dar es Salaam: Orientation (Spoken, Projects, Local) + Kiswahili lessons.
- 11th January (Tue), Dar es Salaam: Orientation (City Center) + Kiswahili lessons.
- 12th January (Wed), Dar es Salaam: Work at community schools (nursery, primary and secondary level), sports programs + Kiswahili lessons.
- 13th January (Thu), Dar es Salaam: Work at community schools (nursery, primary and secondary level), sports programs + Kiswahili lessons.
- 14th January (Fri) Dar es Salaam: Work at community schools (nursery, primary and secondary level), sports programs + Kiswahili lessons.
- 15th January (Sat), Dar es Salaam - Coral Islands: A boat trip with a traditional dhow boat to Coral islands at the Dar es Salaam Marine Park. Swimming, beach life, snorkeling and sea sports.

- 27th January (Thu) Dar es Salaam: Work at community schools (nursery, primary and secondary level), sports programs.
- 28th January (Fri), Drive from Dar es Salaam to Iringa - day 1: Ruaha Safari Day 1. Some 500km drive to Iringa town through Mikumi game reserve and mountains. Accommodation at Isimilia hotel.
- 29th January (Sat), Ruaha National Park - day 2: Ruaha safari Day 2. AM 5 we start to drive the last 120km local sand roads to the Ruaha game reserve. We arrive to the gate around AM 8 depending the delays caused by the passing by animals on the road. All day in the game reserve (you need to pack your lunch box with snacks). Evening time to the luxury lodge at Foxes safari camp. Dinner at the Great Ruaha River bank.

Week 4
- 30th January (Sun), Ruaha National Park, drive to Iringa - day 3: Ruaha Safari Day 3. A second day in the park. Afternoon we drive back to Iringa town.
Overnight at Isimilia Hotel.
- 31st January (Mon), Drive from Iringa to Dar es Salaam - day 4: Drive back to Dar es Salaam.
- 1st February (Tue), Dar es Salaam: Work at community schools (nursery, primary and secondary level), sports programs (those having the Ruaha as 5 days safari will drive from Iringa to Dar es Salaam).
- 2nd February (Wed) Dar es Salaam: Work at community schools (nursery, primary and secondary level) sports programs.
- 3rd February (Thu) Dar es Salaam: Work at community schools (nursery, primary and secondary level) sports programs.
- 4th February (Fri), Dar es Salaam: Work at community schools (nursery, primary and secondary level), sports programs.
- 5th February (Sat), Dar es Salaam - Bagamoyo: Visit to the historical Bagamoyo town some 60 km from Dar es Salaam.

- 13th February (Sun), Dar es Salaam Markets: Dar es Salaam markets. Among others visit to the famous Makonde tribe carvers shopping village. You can find beautiful ebony carvings at small cost as well as Tinga Tinga paintings and other handicrafts.
- 14th February (Mon), Dar es Salaam: Work at community schools (nursery, primary and secondary level), sports programs.
- 15th February (Tue), Dar es Salaam: Work at community schools (nursery, primary and secondary level), sports programs.
- 16th February (Wed), Dar es Salaam: Work at community schools (nursery, primary and secondary level), sports programs.
