Do we all spend the first hour of any trip wondering what has been forgotten. DW has perfected this to a fine art, despite me uttering assurance after assurance that mainland Europe is not on the dark side of the moon, and everything available in England will be equally available there also.
Needless to say by the time we reached Cambridge services on the A14 just outsde the famous university town of the same name, what was forgotten, we would replace, or go without.
I hadn't been to Harwich docks for over 40 years, so I recognised nothing, but it was well signed, and even had a large Morrison's supermarket at the entrance. The boarding fomalities were simple and quick, but as we were of equal height to the coaches our boarding was just about last. Once on board, we settled down in one of the bars and enjoyed a nightcap of the alcoholic variety before our departure at 11.15pm.
