Payal can do the PADI Open Water course for you in 4-5 days, you can eiehtr do it full time or part time in which case it will run over two weekends. (Saturdays Sundays). This is weather dependant of course. The PADI Open water Course teaches all of the basic in-water and surface skills that you need in order to be a safe diver. You will be required to complete and master these skills prior to certification. All these skills will be practiced with a qualified Instructor during a confined water training session (in a pool), where your instructor will demonstrate the skills. You will then practice these skills with your instructor until you are both comfortable with your performance. There are about 20 basic scuba skills and various sub-skills that are taught at entry level. The skills can be dividend into surface skills, shallow water skills and deep water skills. The course comprises three sections, namely theory training, pool dives and sea dives. Because the course is performance based, we let you master each skill before moving on to more complex skills. By the time you are ready for the big blue sea you will feel completely confident in your equipment and skills, as well as knowledge in the theoretical aspects, so that you can really savour these first dives you do – we hope it will be the first of hundreds to come!
