GIVING IN TO DESTINY
200km
I had a pretty good sleep at the Manga Cafe and it only cost me about $A9.00! More proof that I`m useless at comprehending these Japanese signs! While I wasn`t sleeping I had booked myself into a hotel (a real one, not a Love one!) for the next three nights in Kyoto. It breaks all my own rules of knowing where you are going to stay AND especially staying in a hotel, but I really wasn`t having any fun spending half of each night looking for somewhere to sleep. I also remembered that this shouldn`t really be the hard part of the trip and I should save myself for outback Mongolia...
This of course also meant missing out on the Japanese Touring cars, something I had wanted to see for a long time, but anyway in gives me an excuse to come back to Japan one day! I did do a quick last run around the outside of the Suzuka Circuit, the place was jumping with heaps of nice cars and bikes everywhere and then headed off to Kyoto.
Checked into the hotel at 2pm, drank the two beers that where in the fridge and slept. I was pretty well shagged after the last week and finally having somewhere decent to stay I slept like a baby log!
