Breakfast for a champ!
This is certainly one way I didn't expect to spend a birthday 4-5 years ago: on a bus, alone, in South America. The kicker in it? I'm actually immensely happy about it and really like it.
To be honest, it's not that different from last years birthday-breakfast, hangover pizza in some to this day unknown suburb of Stockholm.
But life on the road/in the air ain't that bad either. Working my best on sticking onto the last money I've got, making it last as long as possible. The one thing I'd really like to do before going home though is dive a few more times but if I manage to squeeze that in anywhere, I'm nothing short of a magician. When I planned this trip, I never-ever thought it was going to be much to do, and this little time to do it. A year would've been more appropriate, but then again, I barely have enough money to go round as it is.
The good thing is that now I know what to do, where to go, how to travel etc etc.
There are simply too many stunning places to see, to much good to stay home all the time. I'm going to have to work like an animal when I get back, but damned if it ain't worth it.
Happy birthday to me!
