Had another relaxing day. Went to "Two Step" beach. So named because there are two steps of volcanic rock to get into the water, then you are immediately into an amazing coral reef with lots of colourful fish swimming around. It was amazing! You felt quite safe two because you didn't have to swim far from the shore.
The dolphins were out playing too. About fifty of them, jumping out of the water and twisting round. They are actually called Spinner dolphins.
Spent the afternoon in Kona, atypical seaside resort with a colonial feel.
Evening time we went to the Sheraton Resort and Spa to watch the Manta Rays. The hotel shines lights on the bay to attract the krill that they feed on and that brings the rays in to feed. They are huge! People were out swimming with them! They must be mad, when you see the waves crashing against the rocks! I was happy to watch from the hotel terrace.
All packed now for flight to Maui tomorrow.
