So we left Argentina and crossed the border into Brazil. We camper one night by the beach at Bertioga, then onto Paraty where we will camp for 3 night before we here to Rio de Janerio, in time for Rio carnival 2006-woohoo!!!
Paraty is a great little colonial town, with narrow cobbled street hosting a number of great shops. There is a real seaside feel about this place, with its beaches and cobbled street, full of assortment of shops, restaurants and bars so all in all a great place.
Best of all is the islands just off its coastline and its clear turquoise waters, which we explored on a boat cruise. And what a great day it was. We set sail on a tall ship, which took us along the coastline to a host of beautiful, serene islands set in the clear turquiose waters. We spent the day diving off the ship and swimmimg in the sea, and had such an awesome day. Talking of awesome sights, there were 3 tall ships that set off, all containing fellow young travellers, and ladies, there were so many hotties aboard, and best of all, half naked-heaven!!!
So a great day of cruiseing around the islands and swimmimg in the turquoise waters and perving on the half naked men.....glorious-a FAB day!!!
As there are 15 other tour buses in the campsite, it feels like a mini carnival, as everyone is getting in the mood for Rio carnival. So if you wanted a good nights sleep, your not gonna get one here as it is party central 24 / 7.
So all in all, a great time. And time are just about to get better as we head to Rio for RIO CARNIVAL 2006!!!!!!woohoo!!!! BRING ON THE PARTY!!!!
