Happy Wednesday!
Last night was a culinary delight at the Wharfside fish restaurant. If you can't get fresh fish here, not sure where you should go. The added bonus of the night were the free drinks we managed to secure!
Today sees our second helping of Victoria. An early gym session to start the day and it's off to Willie's for a hearty breakfast. A great spot to eat having been around for over 100 years, it must be good!
Think I have a bit of a food theme going on here... Not like me at all!
After food we were walking down to the Harbour when I met my new best friend, Michael C Williams, a city benefactor. Our photo is labelled in with the rest of today's.... We strolled around the city and it wasn't long before we bumped into Glen and his bagpipes... Kate was hoping for a rendition of sweet 16 for a video to be sent to Laura, better late than never, but he didn't know it! We headed off to Bastion Square, and there we met Robert Whittle, a Yorkshire born author, who at 80 years young is still writing. He has lived here over forty years and of course I came away with a signed copy of Lizzie tucked under my arm! It's raining men today, even if some are statues! Coffee time and starting my book. Back later x
