Wow it has been a very long time since i last wrote a blog! what have i been doing i do not know! Plus never sure anyone ever reads this!
Since leaving Rio I headed back to Argentina via Iguazu falls which was amazing! stunning, take you breath away sights.
The rest of Argentina involved really long bus journeys and not much else.
Bolivia: amazing. so much fun. we visited the Salt Flats, which is basically a dried up lagoon that is WHITE but you can make really funny pictures there. We randomly bumped in to an old friend so it made the 3 day trip all the more worthwhile. Bumping our way north along the crqazy non existant bolivian roads is an experience and not for the faint hearted! With a few towns before arriving in La Paz! Altitude crazy as soon as we arrived we thought it would be the sensible thing to trek up to 5400M needless to say we couldnt breath but the view was stunning!
English people travelling! oh my god i hate some off them. we ran into 7 (what i can only describe as children who thought that taking cocaine 24-7 would be a good idea. I never felt so bad to be British!
Worlds Most dangerous road!!! Crazy experience, we took a bike tour and plummeted along a crazy road with twists and turns. Anyone that saw the bolivia episode of top gear will know what it looks like! Was sooo much fun though.
Anaconda hunting and swimming with caymen and aligators was certainly an experience. 3 Days in the Jungles and Pampas in North Peru was simply beautiful a must for anyone in bolivia. Our crazy guide sitting infront of one of the worlds most dangerous snakes and then telling us to swim with river dolphin! as if there are dolphin in the rivers?
Lake Titicaca one of the most famous lakes in the world! one word MASSIVE. It was like looking out to sea! we spent a few days living with locals on the islands and meeting some great people on our tour!
Peru:
More of Lake titicaca then some hardcore treking. We stayed in a city called Arequipa and met some super cool people, even though i was a little hungover. Watching Rafa eating a guinea pig will definately be a memorable time. hope no one has a guinea pig!
Treking in the Andes in the North of peru and and interesting trip to the hospital for my friend!
We arrived in Cuzco after 21hours on a bus and were dragged by a Peruvian Botox king and guinea pig eater to a village for an empanada! who in England would travel for an hour for a pasty?
I have just conquered Macchu Piccu after 4 days. Simply beautiful though rminded me off home and castles etc and ruins! felling very home sick and missing everyone. those i have met here and those at home.
love you all
