Can't wait until you can look after me when I wake up during the night. I'm fed up with Mum and Dad seeing to me as they are boring and just stuff my dummy back in in the hope that I'll go back to sleep. They even avoid talking to me in the middle of the night and try not to make eye contact because if they do I give them a big smile and that means they have to play games with me. On account of the time difference I'm planning on being up a lot in the early hours, so we can have fun together then. Can't wait. Love, dribble, and a bit of sick,
Nathan

Hi Lynds
You sound like you are having a brilliant time... Wish I was traveling with you...alas I have to stay in Australia and get your accommodation ready for you. Was it mints on the pillow and champagne by the bed? Mind you in this weather the chocolate will be a dribling mess on your pillow. The pool is still a lovely green colour but I am told it will be sorted by the time you are here. Mark in all his infinite wisdom has sugested although he is not sure wether you can do this in Malaysia or Cambodia.... you can buy a cow and shoot it with a bazooka and it only costs 50 US bucks. Mark never did it but wanted too.... a side of him I didn't know. Mark and Phil (My step dad) laid the foundations for our shed. Can't believe we are finally getting that. At least we will be able to move in the rest of the house now. Could you please let me know your flight details again please. At this stage it will be Georgia and myself picking you up as Mark will still be at work. Wants to save his time off for when everyone is here. He will be home by the time we get home from the airport. Keep having a fantastic time. We are very jealous. Georgia sends you a big rasberry followed by lots of dribble. Take care love Juli, Mark and Georgia

Hi Cuz,
Sounds like you're well and truly living the dream - mosquito infested rooms, holes in the roof and an infected leg - I'm quite jealous actually! Mum and I laughed to think of you flashing your Evans arse to all the surfers - shame no one had a camera! Glad to hear you've met some travelling buddies - be careful tho, make sure you don't go following some weird map to a remote island where all these beautiful people live in a totally utopian community - it'll all end in tears.
Things here are fine - Paul and Amber have found out that they can't get married in Goa so they're looking at other places (could be Thailand again for you in 2007) and me, Mum and Dad just got back from a holiday in Italy. Had a really great time but I think I ate my own body weight in pasta.
I found the coolest Xmas present for my friend the other day - there's this website called www.truffleshuffle.co.uk and they sell all these 80s t-shirts (I've got a goonies one!) Well, my friend Lucy is a huge fan of 16 Candles and she totally fancied the guy in the film, called Jake Adams or something like that (who died the death of many an 80s love interest - whatever happened to Corey Feldman and Corey Haim? Such potential and charisma wasted - a tragedy.) Anyways - this t-shirt has a picture this guy, Jake Adams on it, with "I Heart Jake Adams" on it. This might not make a lot of sense in a message board posting but please understand that this is the most perfect present ever for someone who loves 80s films as much as Lucy and I can't believe that someone in the world would actually make these things!!!
OK that's enough rambling from me - hope your leg gets better and you do lots of exciting things - let us know what you're up to. All in the family have read your postcard and send on hugs and greetings! Have a fab time and be in touch soon!
Love Sooz. xxx

Hi,
Just thought you may be interested to know I'm currently selling my first painting - you may recognise it! Wish me luck - it took about 25 hours to do so I'm hoping to get around £80 at least...

Not sure the link will work direct - cut n' paste otherwise.
Nice pics although I've got that 'Baby Elephant Walk' song by Henry Mancini stuck in my head now!
Take care.

hi my little lovely - had a good time at the christening yesterday but emma and sarah are right about them bringing back the monsoon - was not funny at all! printed your e-mail and showed to nicki and dan who were most amused by the mcs*** t-shirt comment! also, you'll be concerned to know that sarah is turning into an alcoholic as she is bored by staying at home now she's travelled the world - by this, i mean she has been to all bar one four days in a row, all to the detriment of her washing and also the tidying of her flat. i think she is in search of the perfect uk sold beer though there has been some vino thrown in for good measure! so when are you going to malaysia then - as it happens i will be in KL on the night of the 17th nov and in langkawi from the 20th to the 23rd...very short and sweet i know. highly unlikely you'll be about but if you are, then that would be v cool - i could inspect your crusty scabs up close and personal - how delightful!!!! also, didnt get to see your car at wkend so rang jan today to book an appt for next sat morning 11am. more outrageous running escapades with lan tomorrow evening (aaarrgghh) but must focus on the charidee aspect to get myself through. will also focus on the fact that jo jo has offered to cook up some culinary delights for my dinner afterwards - marvellous!so, i love you lots and remember, picking the scabs is very pleasing now but won't be pleasant looking by the time you get back - so leave them alone!!!!
Emma
Sounds like you are coping just fine without me and Sarah!!! Not too keen on some of the trek photos though - looking a bit dodgy!! It's still boring here - nothing exciting to update you with and I'm off to work in a mo (oh lucky me!) so bye for now xx
Catherine
ok ok I admit this is the first time I've looked at your pics, they are fabulous and am very impressed with how brave and adventureous you are being! hope your scabs get better soon, just realised that the web site tells us what the time is where you are - very impressive! so while I'm groaning at it being Monday morning you are lounging somewhere enjoying Monday evening!(small things and all that..!)

STOP SCRATCHING !!!!
Suggestions are to on no account scratch, avoid sea and pools good idea, but salt water bathing in shower would be good. Elevate and ice packs would be handy as much as you can. Regular application of savlon or antiseptic cream and if you can cover the bad ones that would be good.
If she thinks of anything else I will let you know hun.
