How was it in Oz? Say what you want about Australia but they know how to do a fireworks display! I remember sitting in a park in Perth overlooking the harbour being astonished by the fireworks! I'm back at work painting as from yesterday - all my stuff is here - http://photobucket.com/albums/c192/matpringle3000/ and will remain so till Pazza sorts me out with Dreamweaver - he is his usual reliable self you'll be pleased to know.
Christmas pretty much shot by leaving me feeling a bit sad and skint - no change there then! Anyway take care and I'll mail you soon.
Love Mat x
The Thomas's
Hi Lynds.
It's New Years day and we're at Steven and Tracey's after a very late night partying. Just read your website
update, glad to see you and the family are having a great time in the sun. Tell Mark to get a bucket of cold water ready, Ray's feet are swelling up just looking at your photo's! Tried to call you and ya Dad's mobile Christmas day, had no luck, too tight to leave a message. We wish you all a very happy and healthy 2006, lots of love. Ray, Sue and family. xxx
PS. Steve bumped into Roger & Natalie at Oran's school, they send there regards to Mark and family.
Lynds
Thanks for all the updates everyone. Have a super Christmas and a very Happy New Year...if you're not working that is (sorry Em!) Loads of love and Christmassy kisses and hugs. Lynds x x
Emma
Hi there! You're emails and post cards are getting a bit thin on the ground so I guess you are having too much fun out there with the family. I'm almost ready for xmas - just a few more presents to buy - thanks for the postcard by the way. I'm on nights over xmas so not much fun to be had there. You sound like you will be covered in war wounds when you come back - not sure if any of them will be as impressive as my hand scar - you can still really see it!! Bugs eh!! Have a brill Christmas and email soon xxx
The Tall Evans Et Al
I know, I know. I promised to send a message sooner but what do you expect? It's in the genes! What I want to know is how do you manage to do so much when half the time you must be writing it up?!?! Seriously though, your site is amazing and it looks like you're having a ball. Very jealous apart from the bites. Urgh. Not much to report from this side of the world - I'm getting a bit snowed at work but there are lots of Xmas do's to take my mind off it. Work hard, play hard and all that. Amber is doing really well (she says hi by the way) and we're both looking forward to our first Xmas together. Corky is still spreading death and destruction wherever he goes. Say hi to the Evans clan and I'll give you a bell over the festive period. I take it you'll all be at Mark and Julie's for Xmas? Ta ta.

Yo Lynds.....Its Monday bloody morning and I've just spent the last half hour looking through all your photos and messages and all I can say is that.....I AM SOOOOOO JEALOUS. You look healthy, happy and like you're having the time of your life. Good for you, wish I were in your shoes.Nothing much of interest to report from Streatham, except that I was watching TV last night and was visited by a mouse! nearly died on the spot!! So had to drag the hoover out, for no other reason than to scare the living daylights out of it. I know thats pathetic, and it was a tiny mouse.....oh and I'm getting into the spirituality thing. Went to a meditation class in Balham last week and it was really good!! I mean I didnt really have a clue what people were going on about ("We will now work towards raising our koundalini...")Er...yeh...Ok. But felt great after the class so will try and go on a weekly basis. On and you never guess what?! Finally saw CAC (the Anti-Christ) down the pub a couple of weeks ago! Lynds it was virtually 3 months to the day and guess what?I totally blanked him. More details to follow in hotmail email.
Anyways love you loads and missing you loads. Have a lovely Christmas and New Year. By the way pics of your niece are super cute.

You will be amazed to hear that I have had 2 weekends in and only ventured into town to shop !!! I have the new car so need to save some money, not really the best time of year to get a convertible it would appear though ! Anyway.........your little niecey is beautiful, not sure about the last piccie though, is that really a sink you are bathing her in ?!?!?!?!?! And you did the night zoo depsite my best efforts to warn you off. Still you enjoyed it so maybe I'll shut up in future! This painting life is great but it's not paying the bills - gonna try and get some bar work asap or Christmas is officially cancelled!
