Day 6: Friday, August 7th
So, change of plans. I switched my rafting and zipling plans to next Saturday so over the weekend I went with 9 other girls to the Arenal Volcano! I'm so happy I went because it's definitely something I wanted to do and something I wouldn't be doing in my last week of travel. It was the best weekend I've ever had!…

Well this stupid blog just deleted everything I had typed in the last hour and a half about day 3 and 4. Im not typing it again, but just to sum it up: I had my first day by myself on the proj…
WOW. I love Costa Rica! This is my third day here and I am having an incredible experience. Of course being in a foreign country has not been a walk in the park all day, everyday, but that fac…

Your adventure is brave, normal and exciting! I read something yesterday to mark 5 stars. I started marking, and it only let me mark one when I wanted to mark 5! Love to read this! Love you, Grandma
Moe's Hoe
Whoa, Moe.....this is weird to see you typing words. In my mind, you're still learning to read. You're growing up!!! Lyndi, are you by chance reading the BoM en espanol? I feel like I don't practice or listen to Spanish very often, but when I read the scriptures, it helps me make a lot more sense of the language. Way to be so positive about everything. Continúa viviendo en tu fe!

Aww, I'm so jealous of how well you are speaking! I miss you, but I feel like you are still kind of here when I read your blogs, so life goes on. "me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, only, me, me!" Idk why, but this has been stuck in my head 24/7!!!
Dad
Okay, I knew that mom and I were the best parents on earth, but in the entire universe? Wow. Just another thing to brag about. :-) We love you Lyndi.
Trisha Smith
Love the mom comments. Now you understand why we are so tired and want to get out of the house! Also I forgot to tell you that my friend Andrea Diaz sent you a friend request on Facebook. She is from Argentina and came to American not knowing the language at all. She said she can give you some ideas on how to teach English to the boys. Maybe she can help? Looks like you are enjoying your adventure! Yay!!

Thanks for thinking of Dave! He will be so excited for the paprika. I love your descriptions of the food and culture. I can live vicariously through you! Loved the hair comment.
Steve (Dad)
On my mission to England I observed a lot of bad hair. Mostly it was bedhead stuff, but even the "styled" ones don't look all that great either. Very funny the way to describe it and now that you have, I suppose the real fault is with the stylists. They're probably just not very good.
And the light switch on the outside of the bathroom is classic stuff. You're right, you kids (okay, I'll admit, even it would've tried it a few times) would have had lots of "fun" with that.
Steve (Dad)
Okay, Lyndi, Dave told you there were going to be lots of "guapa" calls when you're out on the streets so I'm not surprised to hear about that. I guess you'll have to keep your time out on the streets to a minimum...righ
Linda Paulson I love your blog/explorings! Thank you for sharing your journey!
