Arrived in Nadi and went straight to the ferry to go to the Yasawa Islands. First stop Kuata island. Water taxi came to get us and take us to the island. Stayed in a beach hut (called a Bure). Not really a desert tour though felt like it - travelled early morning on Greyhound from Las Vegas back to LA. Got express bus which only took 4 and 1/2 hours as opposed to 8! Went to Las Vegas retail outlet for some more shopping then visited Mandalay Bay hotel. Sat by the Luxor pool and sunbathed in the afternoon. Had dinner buffet at the Luxor and then went to Pamela Anderson's 42nd Birthday bash in the LAX club! (Again got free entry and queue jump! ) Saw Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee! Along with the rest of her crew. 'E' Entertainment channel were there filming it. Again, only in Vegas!!

Happy 4th of July!! Went on day trip to the Grand Canyon, Arizona. Visited the Hoover Dam first then to the Canyon. Tour bus got a flat tyre on the way! Ended up stranded in the middle of no where with no mobile phone signal til the next bus came! Did bus trip around the Canyon, was lovely. Had breakfast in the Rainforest Cafe then took the monorail to the Stratosphere. Went up the Stratosphere tower and on the ride at the top called Big Shot. Was absolutely terrifying!
