WE MADE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok so after 6 long months of traveling we finaly made it to cairns, the final stop on our Oz experience bus and where we had been aiming for the whole time! Everyone had said when r u coming to cairns n we'd always said yer soon and now we can be the ones that r saying "when r u coming to cairns?"
On the journey up from maggie island we stopped off at a crocadile farm where they keep problem crocs and use them to breed crocodiles for meet and leather. This place was awesome the guys working there were proper crazy aussies, like steve irwin only a bit watered down. They would tease the crocs stand on them and one guy even held a fully grow aligator in his arms no joke, there is a picture on here! After we'd seen the crocs we went and fed some kanggas and had a look at the cassory birds and dingos they had there. After it was time to hold some of the animals and marcus absolutly stacked it and ran out of the room when they brought out the snakes, hes absolutly petrified, when we got to the farm a guy ran on with a croc and chucked it on marcus's lap, he went white!
After the croc farm we started the final final leg of the journey up to cairns there were many songs sung particularly some slim dusty favorities, "g'day g'day" and "give me a home among the gum trees", and of course the classic "don't hold back" which had been the theme tune to our time in australia. It was a very emotional moment!
When we arrived in town we dumped our stuff at the hostel and headed out for a legendary night at the woolshed to celebrate our arrival and the fact it was our drivers last day on the job! Very messy...
