We did another one of our usual turn arounds. Travelling west to Lyon on the train gave u time to appreciate the French countryside. In Avignon we went to an italian restaurant where we ate two delicious pastas!

Skyping my mama. Yaayyy! Sad to leave Charmonix. It has been a wonderful trip. We got to hike up some mountains, walk all the way to Italy, taste some great sangria, and get drenched in the rain. It was great fun. Later today we head to Avignon, we believe it will be a 7 hour train ride. Hopefully we'll make friends there too :D! Tomorrow we head out to Barcelona (the real home of sangria! We can judge if ours was up to par).

2:30 walk. Finally reached the top. It's cold. Tasha has had two embarrassing moments in the span of 30min. I wonder what the third will be. Oh and the waitress defo shook up the drink. But the area was nice. On our walk over we had to use G1 multiple times because of all the SATTS.

We spent the afternoon in a cute area of Paris called Montmartre. Tiny cobble stone streets, artists, the Basilica, coffee shops, and the best view of Paris from above (well, besides the Eiffel Tower) make up this cute area.

One of the highlights of our time in Paris was definitely the evening bike tour around the city. We joined a group tour (check out Fat Bike Tour Company) and spent 5 hours seeing Paris in the best way: on a bike.
