I'm leaving LA today at last, just want to get to New Zealand now! My flight is at 9.40 pm so have a few hours to kill this afternoon! I get to Christchurch at 9.30am on Thursday so i lose a whole day!
Will put more pictures on when i get there, may need some help you see! Bobby knows everything so hopefully she can help!!
Anyway hope all is ok at home, got to go, i'm runnign out of time!!

Hope you are enjoying your last day in LA. Back at work today - a bit like walking through treacle as I haven't quite adjusted to the time difference! No sympathy here of course. Hopefully I'll be more with it tomorrow. Went through San Francisco and stopped off as we were early for the flight. Great fun playing car chases on the hills! A bit like a roller coaster ride. The views of the bay were spectacular and they even organised an air force fly past for us! Actually it was Columbus Day and there were lots of things going on. Saw a tram and a highway patrolman eating doughnuts - that's another two ticked off the list of must-sees!Our last supper was rather magnificent - had half a cow on my plate! As it was last night we pushed the boat out and ordered pudding - big mistake! We ordered three desserts between six of us, only to find that one of them was the veritable Mount Everest of chocolate cakes and would have prompted immediate coronary if eaten in one sitting! Had to take a picture of it - will send you a copy once I work out how! House full of washing in various stages of cleanliness - ironing pile rivalling the chocolate cake in size. Boys ate pizza and toast for the week by the looks of it. Some very odd things in the food cupboard as well. Good to be home, though. Have a good flight and hope you meet up with the others safely. Lucy..... Very jealous of all your antics! As far as the hockey goes playing for the first time this season on saturday for the 2s, it appears I have been dropped for Calum Giles (which is fair enough as he is GB's top goalscorer anyway)... Erm as for the fighting thing I am so unfit that I may have to start clothes lining people to stop them passing me!!!! I hear Chris will be back soon?! Am off to hockey then Pompey on friday in my brand new car, YES! Thats BRAND new, 25th present!!!! A jet black Golf 1.6i are you jealous??? Love you (but not as much as my new car) Ewan.... x
Hey Lu, love the pictures, like the different angled ones of Grand Central Station but then again there's so much to take in at that place. When i was there it reminded me a bit of Harry Potter with all the different tunnels for the trains. Both you and chris are looking well, glad to see, dreading you going to the hot and sunny places imagine the tan you'll be getting! cheeky monkey.
