Hello form south america,

Having such an amazing time already it seems like we are going to be spending alot of time on busses at leat while were in south america at least!
After seeing the weather forecast saying it was snowing here i was very pleased to find shining sunshine when we landed hidden by a few clouds but still complete opposite from england!! the first day we landed in Lima got a really nice hostel and the guy that owned it was called Pedro which I couldnt belive the actual first person we came accross was called pedro! only stayed there for a couple of days did a bike ride around lima to have a look see as rod says which was cool however decided to take a detour from the map and soon regretted it after we had to carry our bikes up millions of stairs which earlier lizzie had struggled to walk up`without carrying a bike we made it back in time though!!

next day we decided to move on from lima as it is pretty much a holiday town like most you see and came to wackachine......this is not how its spelt but this is how it sounds to me!! its amazing here! i love it its like no where i have ever seen before in my life the view is so pretty it seems to be in the middle of the dessert with rolling sand dunes and what we have decided is a man made lake which all the locals seem to be swimming in me and liz braved a paddle but it looked so green we decided to go back tot the hostel pool, which isnt much cleaner but more fun!! the first night we got here they had a bbq on so we just did that which turned out to be so much fun, met some really interesting people from all over which is very helpful to see where they reccomend!
Yesterday we went dune bashing which i thought i was going to be able to have a go at driving turns out its you have to be mental to be able to do it so we just sat there ans shouted s*** alot evertime we went over a bump!! included in that was sand boarding which was really fun! i didnt brave standing up though only the pros seemed to be doing that!
today were getting the bus from ica which is the most run down place i have ever seen going to araquipa which is a town between two volcanos which should be interesting! ill try and keep this updated whenever i can but better go now! going to have a lie by the pool before we get on the bus!!
