4 day inca trail. Didnt get off to a good start - the only road to the start of the trail was completely blocked so everyone off the 4 coaches stuck on the road had to get out and move all the rocks - good team work - only took 30 mins. Arrived in a Arequipa after Puno. Great town - loads of bars!!! Booked a 2 day trip to Colca Canyon to see the famous condors - the biggest birds in the world. Stayed in some tiny little villages, chilled out in a natural hot spring outside when it was freezing. Final day managed to see 3 condors. However trip home wasnt too good as we had to drive through mountains completely covered in fog - luckily the bus didnt fall over the edge and were still here!

Lucys bday!!! Went on a day trip to see the floating islands and the island of Taquille on lake titicaca. Saw some amazing sights - really interesting. Had a really nice pizzaa and then went to a few bars to celebrate Lucys bday. We got pisco sour (the local drink) and unfortunately much more as Cherise kept announcing it was Lucys bday and more free drinks appeared!!! The highest city in the world - what more can we say - spectacular in a weird sort of way. Colonial buildings next to sky scrapers and business men next to traditional Bolivian women carrying babies on their backs. Went to the Coca museum - very interesting. Went to a pre-inca site (more than 1500BC) - very interesting as it is so long ago although some of the statues had been used as target practice in past civil wars, or decapitated by the Spanish!
