Hi all!!
So this is the morning of our last day on Koh Samui, we're checking out in an hour or so and getting the bus and ferry over to Koh Phagnan. Full Moon Party on the 10th!! It's been an amazing few days here, we think we've finally cracked the mossie bite repelling!!!!! A great little shop we found that sells all sorts of great stuff.
Again, sorry about the photo situation but we're really carefull about finding a safe internet cafe as we now have some amazing photos and don't want to lose them. A lot of which from our trip yesterday around the smaller Thai Islands.....
.....First we had breakfast at the pier...they call it breakfast....it was toast and coffee!!! If they can call it coffee! lol. We then got on a speed boat which took us out, taking about half an hour to get to Koh Sam Sao Island, a small little cove in the middle of amazing blue waters full of fish. Here we got to jump in and snorkel as the Thai guys threw bread in to get the fish going!! This was brill until Bons noticed the rocks beneath her and then realised she didn't like rocks beneaqth her. but still had a great time. We then got back on the boat and were taken over to the Marine park which is a cluster of small islands that all look like stuff. You'll see the photos soon but one looks like a praying man, others like sphinx's. On from this we were taken to a larger island where there were a few more people, we followed our guide who took us a climbing!!! Up really steep ladders and through gaps in the rocks (theres a gap in the market for health and safety over here!!!) we finally came out at the most breath taking view of the green emerald lake or "Talay Nai". It's a salt water lake that formed when the earth below it calapsed into caverns. Stunning!!!! So we then headed all the way back after lots of pic taking and looking around and were taken by boat to a lovely desert island to sit on to have lunch. From here we were taken to a really nice set of smaller islands and put in Kayaks, then led by our guide we paddle for about an hour around these islands occasionaly stopping of at tiny little coves and caves and a small deserted beach. Then back on the beach and back home!!!!
Trully amazing day and our best one since the trip started...can only look forward to what is to come!!!
Again soz for the pics buit will get them on ASAP,
Hope you are all well and enjoying the snow!!!! lol (tom's secretely gutted! It has not snowed like that since he's lived in bournemouth and the week he leaves, oh yeah why not snow!!!)
Lots of love
