What a day We've made it to VIETNAM!

We left Chang mai in the end and went to sokhothai where we stayed in a wendy house and rode bikes round the ruined city it was very quaint. Lucy burnt her arms and I thought that i was a mosquito for a couple of hours (We belive samsong wisky is not a good cure for denge fever) but apart from that it was uneventfull.

We left sokhothai Friday morning with a crazy indian man who was wearing old school NHS specs and spoke offensivly loudly he helped us get into bangkok from the bus terminal and in return we accidently left him on the sky train! OOps! Then we went to a realy cute little guest house and found out that because it was the weekend flights to Vietnam had gone up loads so we decided to go to Ko Samet (lucy suggested pattaya I had to explane what was there.... The sex center of thailand!) Later that night While eating GIANT PRAWN we were intervieved by Koren Television and they asked me why i was so sweaty? (this may or may not be true as the denge fever was particluay bad that night)

We got to Ko samet saturday afternoon a little bit after everybody else from thailand had arrived so as you can imagine there wasnt realy anywhere to stay, But Luck prevailed!! and we slept in a hut with millions of hungry mosquitos. We basicaly stayed there till this morning hanging out getting burn and bitten and eating lots of noodle soop. OH YEA how could i forget we had a run in with another (first one was in greece back in '94) massive man woman and child eating PREYING MANTIS!!! and he was hungery! There is a short video but we must WARN you that it isnt realy appropriate for small children or the elderly as it is extremly tramatising.

Then this moring some crazy canadian man took us on his speadboat back to the mainland for free! But we did have to listen to him for 15 minutes but as they say every thing comes at a price. then we got a bus then another bus then another bus then a plane then a taxi that took us somewhere we didnt want to go BUT were getting wise so we didnt go to his friends hotel. and now were in a very posh hotel with INTERNAT!!!!! (they call it internat in vietnam dont know why will ask tomorrow and let you all know)

You may well have seen pictures and videos on the blog (or possibly the news) of a giant foot print and a sand aligator. Just to clear all the rumors up yes they are creations of mine You can e-mail me for a price list.

Hope you are all missing us loads we have been gone for 20 days!
