Helo to everyone,
just stopping by to update our site. Not wrote down anything for ages. Its not because i wouldnt have a time, but my mums internet connection is no good so i have managed to get on my sis pc to get you some update. ¨
We managed to get to my mums house after dragging ourself across Germany. Very nice country but we have spend so many ours on trains that we hated every minute of it. No train was ever on time, so we kept missing our connections and were ending up in random places all the time. Met some really nice people but. Slept in Youth hostel for a night as well.
Well, we had no other option really. As i said trains were late all the time we got to this tiny village at about 10 at nite. But fortunatelly we werent alone. There was another older couple who spoke german and no english but knew few czech words. And than girs from Columbia, living in Holland travelling to friends house in Germany. Spoke German and English as well as another many languages. But what am trying to say really is that we all missed our connection train and were stuck there. So we ended up getting taxi for 60 euros to get us to that next town. Not a very good idea but. We were sat at the train station cause by the time we got there we couldnt check into any hotels. So as we stood outside smoking getting ready for another rough nite a taxi driver came over and said he will take us to the youth hostel near by. He did in deed, even lied at the reception so we could get in. Had a nice sleep and set off to czech.
As soon as we crossed the border we checked into the hotel for a nite. Went downstairs to the pub and got few too many drinks. Next day we bought a car wee Ford Fiesta thinking of suprising my parents. Well, not that easy as it sounds. Guy who sold us that car must have been right b****** cause he never told us that connection from alternator to the battery was snapped so we have been driving for 105 kms and car stopped. Can you imagine how mad we were? We parked up at the car park by supermarket and rang our dad. What a surprise it was when he had to rent a trailer to come and get us another 300 kms to take us home. We were thinking car was f***ed but it turned out to be a very wee fixable thing so we up and running now. Well, if i can advice anybody, take somebody who has a clue when buying a car. Ha ha.
Now we staying with my parents planning to get a job for a wee while and get some more money to get us back on travels. Am just helping at my friends shop for a few days but we keep asking for a jobs for both of us. Ewan has couple of them by now as well so things are looking up. Let us know what you all up to. If we missing out on things.
Love to all
