Iorana !
And that’s already finished Tahiti and the French Polynesian islands, agua turquea, coco nuts, sharks and nemos… Now it’s time for me to share with you my great last 3 weeks.
So I met my cousin Anne in Papeete where she’s been living for a year and a half now. She introduced me to Tahitian lifestyle with her very nice flatmates, she taught me how to open coco nuts, how to eat green mangos with Chinese candy, how to swim with sharks, rock fishes and other very beautiful things, how to NOT ride Teahupoo wave because there’s only 20 cm water depth above corals, how to ride black sand beaches waves with a NON white swim suit, how to swim in her swimming pool at night ;-), how to NOT write emails because it’s too warm, how to burn “tortillons” to protect against hungry mosquitoes, how to cook Uru on a desert beach at night…
Well, it’s been full of stories, joy and discoveries with Anne and Berengere, Clothilde and Thibaut my other cousins who joined us.
Mauruuru (=thanks) and Manuuia (=cheers) to all the team, it was great to spend this time with you, it was great to meet also Anne’s flatmate and friends Christelle, Olivia, Thomas, and others.
I let you check pictures to get a nice idea of what life can be on Tahiti, Moorea, Bora Bora, Maupiti and Huahine Islands…
Enjoy the ride
Now I’m in Sydney. I arrived Saturday morning, completely like a “hair on the soup” haha; I have no real plans for the moment, I enjoyed gay parade Saturday with Etienne and his friends, Love parade here is called Mardi Gras, which kind of weird because 1st : it was Saturday (even if I try not to be picky ;)) and 2nd: Mom, why people are dressed with leather underwear for Mardi Gras and girls are kissing girls and boys are dressed like girls???
I took some videos for you to explain me…
Also if you know great people in Sydney or Melbourne, really do not hesitate to share!!!
I hope you’re all doing great, I miss you.
