So I really enjoy this whole "I don't really feel like doing my homework so I'll go to my blog" thing. It provides a good distraction :) It's hard to believe that I only have two more weeks of classes and then the final exam week! I'm pretty nervous about it and I think I'll kick it into super high gear here soon to try and prepare. My classes have been going fairly well lately. I'm going to meet with my academic director tomorrow to discuss what classes I want to take next semester. I'm hoping I can get out of newspaper reading class. I know it's an extremely useful class, but I really can't wait to be done with it.

This last weekend I went and bought a cell phone and have already received several strange phone calls. I try telling them that I'm an American and I just bought the phone and they dialed the wrong number. No I am not their friend. They just speak in more rapid Chinese. I've decided to give up and won't answer my phone anymore unless it's one of the three people I've given my number to, haha. We also went to a fairly large store with a ton of random venders in it. I bought a small suitcase for when David and I travel to Xi'an and Shanghai.

I still haven't quite decided our itinerary, but we are for sure going to the Great Wall by Beijing, the Forbidden City, the Underground City, and the Terractotta Warriors. Beyond that it's kind of up in the air.

I'm planning on starting my final essay here sometime soon so I'm not completely stressed out during our final week. My one on one class has been really interesting, and has really applicable vocabulary. We're also discussing gender equality in one of my other classes so it's like a double dose of my vocabulary.

I'd better get going, going to go for a run and then get back to the homework! Hopefully I'll have more picture soon!
