What a lovely warm morning in Masterton. Got out all my summer clothing. Could feel myself warming up in the heat (hopefully I will have passengers arm to even it all out). Stopped a few miles down the road in Carterton and spent an hour or so in Paua world. They cut, polish and mount all their own jewellery and you can watch. Unfortunately we turned up at coffee break time. Bought a few Christmas pressies and back on the road. About an hour into the journey came across Featherston. According to the tourist radio they had a Fell Engine museum. Mum and Dad went in while I slept. Apparently it was really interesting! We'd just got out of town when we stopped for lunch, before ending up at the Top10 site just outside Wellington near a place called Lower Hutt. Going into Wellington tomorrow on the bus.
