- Got up and out by 8:30 am.
- We caught the Metro and Monorail to Sentosa, getting breakfast from a bread shop we've been to most days on the way.
- Found we were able to get in an hour early (from 9:00 am) despite 10 am opening, so headed straight in. It was raining quite heavily.
- Had a blast! Started out with an immersive ride (Transformers the Ride: The ultimate 3D Battle) that is a combination of a side, simulator and 3D movie. It was very effective, while I never managed to follow the story line, the ride manoeuvred between several wrap-around screens with 3D videos and made to feel like an moving into the scenes.
- Then to the roller-coasters, Ethan was apprehensive at getting on the bigger ones but decided he would have a go at one (red) that didn't tip upside down. After one turn he loved it, although we got soaked as it was pouring with rain! But didn't want to go onto the Black one that spins, tips, etc… Nanny and I decided we would do it, and Ethan decided he would give it a go at the last minute & we ended up in the front seat! Ethan loved it! We ended up across the day going on it, probably 10 times (and Ethan went by himself at one stage in front seat - to use up Grandads fast pass).
- We made our way around the park doing almost all the attractions, and as it got busier, using our Fast Pass (which could be used once per ride/attraction). There were many rollercoasters (of varying degrees of thrill/terror), a 4D Shrek movie (3D + seats move, water sprayer, air jets), A "comedy" show which used live animation that was effective, but the content was very limited, an well done large set Water World show, a Sound Stage (Hurricane/fire scenario), as well as rides for smaller kids (One which sounded impressive from the sign, but once we got on was really aimed at very little kids).
- Was a great day stayed until 7:50 pm (with closing time being 8 pm). We caught the Monorail back to the mainland, then a train to Chinatown. Went to the super market and found an eatery with more local options which were great (while still having more "normal" options, with Ethan having Fish and Chips).
- Ethan summarised Singapore well as being like going to Carousell with the crowds, only it's like that everywhere most of the time.
- In returning to the apartment. Unpacked, Ethan voluntarily went to bed almost immediately.
- Planning another Waterpark tomorrow, then possibly Night Safari or Gardens by the Bay.
