First day in thailand and were off to a good start. Had a boat trip booked up that started at 9.00am. Which seemed to be crazy early as the night before we had been out and didn't get in until 5 in the morning. Me and michelle both stupidly set our alarms for english time. We both work up at 8.50 which left us 10 minutes to get ready and get downstairs. I was quite impressed with myself that i made it, no time to shower just brushed our teeth and went. I knew i could hack this travelling malarky! No problem! Had a really good day so far, went to some palace, saw some monks walking around with orange cloth wrapped around them. We got taken to this room, which was so hot and appeared to be this old monks house, felt like we was intruding. Started throwing water over us which was supposedly holy water. Yeh right! Just got us a bit wet, but they said it protects us so i'll go with the flow. I couldn't help but laugh, as we sat there praying, felt a bit rude but i couldn't help myself! Got a tuk tuk back to our hotel, im gonna have to learn to get them to lower the price because im not very good at it. Im such a sucker when it comes to these times of things. Specially when 60 baht is only about 1.40 seems cheap enough for me.

We all went out to Khao San road once we arrived last night, was so much fun, and sooooooooo cheap. Had some chicken and rice , and four vodka's for less than a tenner each. Mad stuff. Me and mich tried our first bucket, whiskey and coke, didn't actually taste too bad. Anyway ive got to cut it short, got to go now, i will try and upload pics soon, bet your all extremily jealous!
