We arrived in Barcelona and we were immeadiatly greeted by our driver in his Mercedes benz and headed for our hotel. After check in we made our way down the main drag for some local tapas and a cold drink. It is alot warmer here than our past two desinatioins which is good for a change. The main tourist area is alot like Patong Beach in Thailand with a mass of people and those dodgie gift shops that are full of souvenire CRAP.

Our second day we decided to go on a bike tour of the city which turned out to be one of our best tours so far. Our tour leader was from the UK and was able to tell us all the history and more importantly the great places to eat. the tour went for three hours and we ended up riding about 14km. We were the only ones on the tour so we were able to go to places the big groups couldnt. After the ride we invited our leader to join us for lunch. He took us to a local tapas bar that only spoke Spanish so we sat there in silence while he ordered for us. Athree course tapas meal for 10euro each. Yum..

We enjoyed the bike riding so much we decided to hire two bikes the next day to get around and see a bit more. We had lunch by the beach and visited yet another massive cathedral.

Its our last day in Spain today and we are really just waiting to fly to Morocco at 3pm. We have enjoyed Barcelona and definatly think its somewhere we could visit agian.
