6:19am, Day 1: Sitting on the plane wondering why all the employees are talking outside on the Tarmac. I have a connecting flight to catch in PDX. Hmmmm....

I am writing to begin this blog, which I plan to use to keep family, friends and the Ridgeivew School community updated on my exciting trip to visit PuJi Senior High School in Xi'an, ShaanXi Province, China. I welcome all to follow as I embark to learn more about the Chinese culture, Chinese education and developing a 'Sister' relationship with a Chinese high school.
