I can hear your voice as I read your blog. How I envy you being in the sun. Ian the Janny says I can't have my heating on even although I tried to persuade him that the metal in my leg needs a temperature of over 65 degrees. Working towards 2 good legs but hard at school when your mind's on work and not on walking properly. Perhaps a two week break in the States would help! Keep on blogging. It's better than marking S4 tests in the lunch break.

Hi Helen. Great to read your news. It sounds like your having a ball and I'm sure the family are as delighted to see you as you are them. We had a great holiday in France and Spain but are still not ready to go back to work. It always comes as a shock to the system! I'm sure your 'shock to the system' next week will be much more enjoyable just because it's all new. Hope all goes well and look forward to keeping up with your news. Elaine.

Hello Helen, Wonderful to hear from you, good to hear all is going well. My huge desk is now gone and I have a recycled one in it's place which is much better. Will hopefully sort out all my aches and pains. Your flight sounded like mine to Oz, they do need to make more room on planes for people don't they! On strike tomorrow for pay claim, which I think is a waste of time, but hey ho, a girl has to do what a girl has to do. So all the pupils are being told not to come in. Hopefully it will be dry in the morning on the picket line! Shocking weather here sooooooo much rain. Take care and all the very best. Joy x

Hi Helen! Great to hear from you and great to hear all going well. Met Theresa this afternoon- we're going to have a ball. Picking her up in morning to take her to work, didn't think letting her loose in Dumfries on 1st day back would be wise!! You take care and i'll be in touch
Love Kerry
PS. Sloanie has renamed the office upstairs in PE Dept- it's now "the CUBE"!!! due to all the rain and flooding- ha ha! x
