Hi everyone,
We have arrived safely in Mongolia after the excitment of the border crossing. We're spending today in Ulaanbaatar then tomorrow we are going to Bayangobi where we will stay in a Ger camp for a night, the next day we travel on to Kharkhorinto sta in another Ger camp for two nights, before returning to Ulaanbaatar for our final night before leaving for China.
We've only just arrived in Mongolia, so we don't have much to report except that we've all been given a pocket dictionary each with lots of useful Mongolian phrases. Some seem like they'll be more useful than others- I'm not sure I'll find an opportunity to say "Uher mal targalj baina uu?" (are the cattle fattening well?) for example. We've also found a great TV channel that delivers vegetarian and vegan propoganda and the most uplifting news I've ever watched with no focus on one particular area of the world and a section on good things happening in the world.
We're still keeping well and having an amazing time.
Bye for now
xx
