Hi Everyone!

I am in Cairns now. I have had a busy day reading my Lonely Planet and organising my sight seeing for the next few days.

I am going to Cape Tribulation, Mossman Gorge (thanks to Pauline and Glenn for suggesting this it looks great), Kuranda village and Tjapukai (aboriginal village experience) and am going snokelling off the Great Barrier reef. All that in 3 days!!

I have to say it is easier being on an organised tour as then I don't have to think about organising transport, hotels and sight seeing!!! But it is going fine. This morning whn I got to Melbourne airport I booked my hotel online for Cairns - I went for a "secret hotel" on lastminute.com and it has worked out very well. It is cheap but central and very nice!! I also have had no problems with transport or arranging day trips - its just the decision making I'm not good at!
