hey guys,
Just at college reading your blog!
Makes for some very interesting reading....I also thought I'd get the question out the way - how is the weather?
Its horrible back here! its so cold I had frost on the inside of my car windscreen this morning!
Everybody back here is fine althought now your gone James I do fear for my scoial life! (I've been to The Boot twice in 1 week!)
Also, dont take any notice of Meryls post - Villa deserved to win and it was a blatant penalty! I think Meryl was just wearing her blue tinted glasses (how could you support the Blues)
Anyway, gotta go!
peace out.
Kerry
Hi you two
Wondering if you have read the messages on your board
You haven't said what your accommodation is like or is it that bad that you don't want to talk about it?
I had a look on 'tinternet at the places you have visited in New Delhi they look amazing. you need to post some photos
we are really busy at work at the moment but I will hopefully still manage to get the odd message out to you
Looking forward to the next installment
any chance of a message from Louise just so I know she's not dead in a ditch
Speak soon
Love ma

Hi to both of you
Sounds like the adventure has got off to an exciting start. Looking forward to next installment
Meanwhile, back at home, the dishwasher broke and tripped all the downstairs sockets. We had to get Sam out to check everything. As it turns out, (who knew) you apparently need to remove the plugs of such appliancesfrom the socket, meerly turning them off is not enough to stop the electric from tripping. So we thought that there was a more serious problem. Quite glad to discover that it was the dishwasher in the end. I had visions of me having to blow bubbles through a straw to keep the fish alive for the night. So new dishwasher arrives Tuesday. Have had to do serious amounts of washing up in the meantime.
Oh yes and we bought a new rug for the living room, as soon as it went down, Buddy lay down on it. Looks to be an instant hit.
So you are not missing the PG tips too much then. I did think that they would have a handle on tea-making in India. go figure!!
sad that you haven't seen a monkey yet. You haven't said too much about your accomodation. Is it OK. Adrian wondered if you were sleeping with cockroaches. Well I must go to bed now speak soon
Meryl
Hey!
Glad to see you're in the lap of luxury..missing home already?! We had already established the weather wasn't good in Delhi and that you were going to be under cloudy skies. However, moving on sounds like a good idea, and it can only get better! Even Pattaya sounds better than Delhi - if you get the chance!
James, think you left a shirt or two + some socks..shall I bring them over? Ha. Have managed to rid your bedroom of empty pistachio shells. Keep expecting you to walk through the door then realise that won't be for sometime! Needless to say; missing you already. Get some ear plugs for the incessant horn blowing - that should solve the problem. (this is ree typing...mom's dictating as usual..mom just wanted me to write that you should grow a chimney on your head to deal with the smoking. I found this utterly ridiculous, and felt the need to say). Moving on...
I think it's quite funny imagining you with a chimney on your head...needs must!
No doubt you'll see the other side of life out there; both positive and negative aspects. It will open your eyes though!
Nana still in hospital but much better. Had CT scan, waiting for review and will be home tomorrow.
Villa beat Gillingham 2-1 after a dubious pentaly. Was a close game, Villa were lucky.
Will be in touch when we next hear from you. Don't leave it too long. Look forward to hearing about your monkey seeking adventures etc!
