James, you really need to sort out your irrational fear of sharks. Sharks will not eat you. Come to think about it, they might have a bit of a go if you're cleanly shaven, have a reasonable haircut and smell of soap. Soz Louise, you can't have it all ways, either a vaguely clean boyfriend with no beard, or, er, half a boyfriend because you wanted him to join you swimming....
It's blue sky and 30C here as well. Aye right.

Hi Guys. Goa sounds lush. Sorry about the shark thing James - probably got that from me. I was never the same after watching Jaws. Anyway enjoy the swimming (you could send Louise in first to check-Ha!) Good for you Louise re the shaving and hair bit. James the hippy might have been an interesting photograph though! The weather here has been pretty wet and windy recently so make the most of your blue skies - I'm sure you will. Take care both. It's ok to haggle and even argue a bit with the locals but you will know when to bite the bullet and let it go. Peace and love guys from an ex hippy!

Hi!
Ok, if I wasn't jealous before (which I was) I certainly am now!!! Palm trees, sunsets....and here I am in the library struggling to write an essay on UK labour markets. ARGH!
It's good to hear you're still enjoying yourselves, I enjoy reading your blogs...even if i am green with envy at the same time! If you could possibly sneek a monkey home as a present for me, I would be extremely greatful! I have always wanted a pet monkey.
Well, keep the blogs coming, where are you going next...as you didn't leave us a full itinery, James, I am unsure.
Take care both.
Love, Ree xxx

Hi Loobs & James
Is the Sophie you're talking about, Sophie Frost?
Say hello from me if it is
Goa seems more like the kind of place I would like to stay. palm tree lined does sound better than rubble.
Louise stop being lazy and write something. How have your hostels been? what happened with your tefl? are there still monkeys in Goa
missing you still

Hi James and Louise.
Glad to hear you are both well and in one piece! The trip sounds amazing already and you have only just left the starting blocks! Sound like you need to keep your wits about you if you don't want to end up with a yaks wool rug or an orphan beggar! Taj Mahal sounded impressive. Didn't like the sound of the toilet facilities though - keep taking the tablets! Looking forward to your next instalment.
Take care both. Love, Dad xx
Stephen
hey looby loo,
glad to see that you are alive and well, i was getting worried at one point, although a yaks wool rug would be nice. i see your having a good time over there but it would be nice to see some pictures, are they on facebook?. where abouts in india are you now and when do you leave.
everything is fine at home apart from the fact that i feel like an only child.
speak to you soon

Hi James and Louise!
Sorry I haven't written in such a long time. As usual, I have been busy and exhausted when not busy! I'm not exaggerating! James, I have found loads of your socks and pants (clean, thank God). At least there's part of you left here ha ha!
I have also been chatting to colleagues about your journies and have learnt some new facts about the Taj Mahal. I found out that originally it was planned to build another mausaleum opposite and it was intended to be black. But, unfortunately, the builder died before this happened. Can you imagine the sight had they build the other mausaleum, how wonderful! I expect you already knew that.
It seems to me that you have already had some wonderful experiences and you are only a small fraction into your long adventures! It sounds as if everything is even better than you imagined it to be. Having read Louise's blog, it seems that some of these experiences are a little hard to take! However, I am sure it is all worth it.
Can't wait to hear about the next stage of your journey.
Life contines as normal back at home and everyone is well. I am being threatened with Ofsted at school, my only hope is that they come in the week beg 19th Jan when I am at Bockleton!! Then, I will be free of them for at least another 4 years, at which point in my career I will be slightly senile and it won't make any difference anyway!
Take care and stay safe both.
Love Mum xxxxxx

Hey James
Nobody has said it yet but I think we need proof of life - is Louise really still there or have you swapped her for a Yaks wool rug (good deal if you have).
Glad to see you have arrived safely, keep up the blog and post some piccies (I'm clearly more lazy than Kerry and want the photos here rather than searching for them.
Monkeys - cool!

Hi Loobs & James
So gald to hear from you, so I know you're not dead in a ditch. Raman in our office said why did you not travel premium class on the train. Imagine how good that would be if you get a blanket and a pillow in third class!
The toilets sound horrendous i gueass it's enough to send you constipated for a while. So I've ordered some toilet paper from Tesco, where shall I have it delivered to. Did you get Adrian's email about pricing up the vodka, Write back and tell him you will have to charge a research fee if you are doing his corporate finance work for him.
I'm pleased that there are monkeys everywhere and at the same time I'm pleased that you had your rabies jab
well i'm meant to be booking hotels and train tickets for boss man so I had better go
Love you lots take care both of you

keep up the blogging, it's enjoyable reading, especially when i'm at work! if there are so many monkeys about then presumably there is monkey curry to be eaten? consider that a challenge! reading about the horrible toilets made my stomach turn. i HATE those hole in the ground ones. Still, stock up on loo roll, have fun and stay safe!
