*BLAKE*
The day started at around 8am for brekky at the hotel. Dylan, Callum & I headed to the Hirafu slopes while the girls had a quieter morning walking the town exploring.
After a few hours of snowboarding Callum's board was playing up so and Dylan headed for the gondola were tools are do he could make some changes. I broke away from them at this stage heading over to some green run slopes. After another hr or so I walked back to the hotel to meet the girls and catch the bus over to the Hanazono resort where Dylan & Callum were to meet us.
There was good beginner area where the girls were able to practice what they there heel and toe side breaking. The girls really enjoyed the area as had a magic carpet (flat escalator) that took them back up the hill which made life a lot easier.
After some practice all the girls were able to link toe side breaking to heel side breaking which is a big milestone. Louise and Maya headed up on one of the runs to put what they had learned into practice.
It was a very successful afternoon of snowboarding with good progress made by all.
After a while getting showered and dressed for dinner we headed to the bar next door for a drink. Maya had booked us in at Niseko Pizza and it was a good choice. There were heaps of different pizzas to choose from but they also had pastas, meats and salads. We stuck to pizzas getting a variety from vego to bbq meat and chicken. They were all really nice so we polished them all off with ease. After a dinner a few desserts were ordered in the form of salt caramel cakes and chocolate parfaits.
