Louise & Lucy's Trek: Round The World In 80 Days
Spent the last two days in Kakadu National Park... fantastic!
First day we saw wallabys, held snakes (Lucy's one tried to wrap itself all round her, but then it was an olive python!), saw jumping crocodiles and aboriginal cave drawings, had a barbie with kangaroo meat, played the didgeridoo and toasted marshmallows round the campfire!
Second day we started off with a nice swim by a rock pool - and had a free massage from the waterfall! The signs all say that you swim there at your own risk, but dont worry we still have all our legs, arms, fingers and toes! Bonus! Saw some emus, a kookaburra eating a snake, a stuffed buffalo (Charlie from Crocodile Dundee), and held more snakes!
We had a great time and managed to sleep better in a tent than in our squeaky backpacker bunk beds... but we think we managed to do everything 'Australian' in one day!
Have a look at our photo album to see more!
