Hello!
Now emma and I have left the solitary and chilly regions of Patagonia and are now back aboard the well worn gringo trail, i thought it was about time for another update.
where have we been in the last few weeks? next stop after el chalten was Bariloche, home to one of the best ski resorts in south america. while i wasn't naive enough to think we would be able to carve up some powder, i didnt fancy yet more trekking and so, while meg and emma set out on a 3 hour uphill walk to to the base of the ski resort, i opted for a leisurely morning with a scone in our hostel before taking an even more leisurely walk in the sunshine with a picnic to a waterfall with some others id met in the hostel. much more my style. the next day was only mildly more energetic as we climbed a hill for half an hour or so to se one of the 10 best views in the world. definitely worth the small expenditure of energy as the view was breath taking.
after bariloche, mendoza was the next call amd has probably been our highlght of argentina. accompanied by meg and two others we'd met at Bariloche, we headed towards the wine region in search of some sunshine and some civilisation, both of which we thankfully found. the days were filled with sitting in parks, ice cream, bike rides around the vineyards, tastings at wineries and for emma, a 30 second free fall from a plane almost 3000 metres into the air. as you do.
Cordoba was a little more cultural. 3 churches, one art museum and a che guevara museum meant we filled our culture quota. a horse back ride in the hills nearby was also definitely a highlight.
and now finally BA. its so daunting that this is goign to be my home for the next few months. im so excited to be here as its such a nice city, with world fmous nightlife. i visited the school im goignt oteach in on monday and i start my first day there tomorrow as a classroom assistant, 3 days a week. its scary but will be so good for my spanish and everyone seems so friendly and grateful to have me here. im also moving into my accomadation sometime this week so hopefully after a few days at school and the chance to unpack my backpack, ill start to feel settled.
lots of love to you all

Theo Weez... I've read this about 20 times and it still sounds just as exciting as before! This is does of course mean we haven't had an update in a while, which I'm taking as a sign that it is all going swimmingly! Lots and lots of love xxx
Unky Hope you're enjoying the power of the other side of the classroom. Have you administered your first detention/caning yet? xx
