When In Roam
Today we paid a visit to the Poilane boulangerie, where they take their bread very seriously. For a bread-head like Louise, the Poilane bakery is right at the top of France's incomparable bread culture. After purchasing the gigantic loaf pictured here, we headed home to intoduce our newest acquisition to last night's left-over cheese. And what a fine pair they made! Honestly, anything would go well with this loaf, which was undoubtedly the best that we've had. The best part: two meals later and there is about a third of a loaf left for tomorrow!
The bread, the new Beaujolais, the charcuterie, the cheese: remind me why we're leaving?

Nicole You are clearly leaving to start a Boulangerie in Halifax so that your culture starved family members can have a little Paris in their neighborhood... And to make access to food like that a basic human right. Or something like that :)
Brother Dave culture starved! who are you talking about?
dad i can think of only one other man who got more mileage out of a loaf of bread. Better come home soon. We're down to one fish.
