Hi!
Really hope you're both well, it sounds like you're having an amazing time already! Meldeep, I hope you had a lovely time in Dublin before you headed off.
I just wanted to send you both a very quick hello, I can't wait to see all the photos and hear all the stories!
Take care!
Lots of love xx

Hey Steve!
Sounds totally awe inspriring out there, if a little scary being so far away from everything!? I wait eagerly for more pics!!
Just thought that i'd give you the low down on the weekend's x Factor, as we have already discussed it in the meeting and discussed the fact that you werent there to contribute!
Eton Rd and Robert were down to the last 2 this week.... And Simon had the deciding vote and chose Robert to go. Yes, that means those poxy Macdonald brothers got through AGAIN. I might just try and assasinate them myself... Sorry, did i go Wild?! But i now think that it will defo be a Leona and Eton Rd final. I think that Ben has got boring! I voted for Leona twice and Eton Rd once this week... I am a TRUE X Factor fan!!
The new office seems to be liked by all, if a little cold! (We all sit with jumpers and coats on!) We lunched in the Thomas More Pub downstairs on Friday - was good stodgey food (fab curly fries!) with quick service, so i think it will be a hit! Went out for drinks in there on Friday too, which was pretty good as everyone seems to go there!
Well, i had better go, Lead Man reports to get out.................. how exciting!!
Take care and both of you BE CAREFUL!!

Dear Melissa & Steve It was so exciting to hear from you on the phone couldn't believe it clear as a bell so pleased you are coping with the children and the surroundings. I bet your glad you didn't stay for 3 months dispite how it might have been a good idea, a month is probably enough. I had a lovely time in the Cotswolds what a place to live, chocolate box cottage country. I may have to purchase a Barbour jacket and a pair of green wellies to be part of the set, just down the road from him is where Pride and Prejudice was filmed, you can actually go in and look around. Just down the road from Glyn is where Sheila Hancock lives now and shared the house of course with her husband John Thaw. He played Goddnight Mr Tom and Inspector Morse. On Friday my birthday the girls and i are off to the Spring Inn for a meal including Wanda!! Saw Katie yesterday she looks really well and is happy in Reading. I have lots of functions to go to in the next 6 weeks i have to consult my pound shop diary. In between working 2 lates a week til 9 and my social life i seem to never be here. Russell thinks i have abandoned him and doesn't seem to want to do my housework each weekend and the shopping for some un known reason? But hey your only young once, gotta get out when i can and fit the gym in as well!
The cats are slightly better and i have employed suit cases arranged around the bedroom so that some wallpaper will remain on the wall until next year. Gonna leave the purchase of the carpet for the hall til the new year now as i feel they may end up in Twyford if they scratch the new one. Valerie came over for the evening Thursday she looks really well and Charlotte is doing fab. It feels like to me your back at uni and you could be coming back next week from Steve's reality of you being away so long has not hit home.
Ironically Les popped round this morning looking fit and well and more amazingly Irene has taken a turn for the better seems totally lucid and well!!!!!!!!!!!! The doctors cannot understand it she recognises Les and everyone else? It's good news for him and he can drive from Tuesday onwards is this a good idea? He asked after you and wished you well. I have got Simon the handsome boy in the Irish bars e-mail address for you [email protected]
Do you just add hot water and stir him!

Melissa- In Africa!
Hello everyone!!!
We are safe and well here in Ghana, what an adjustment though! The orphanage is amazing, the kids are great... even if somewhat unruly! Our shower consists of a bucket and our diet is rice, rice and oh rice again! The country is crazy, we are out in the sticks at our orphanage with the nearest town with computer facilities is about 1 hour drive away so sorry if the emails are few and far between. We have escaped to Accra (the capital) for some AC and western food for the weekend though!
The orphanage really is like something you would see on the tv, the kids don't really have shoes etc but they have the biggest smiles, the whole experience is a complete eye opener. I am looking after Class 1 (4-7 year olds)... and they are a complete handful! Absolutely no discipline so getting them to sit down is a challenege! But I taught them the hokey kokey today and they absolutely loved it. Steve and I feel like we are really making progress with them which is great.
Well I had best get on and put some photos up on the site so check them out!
I hope you are all well and happy at home, it has been lovely to hear from you. And sorry to those who tried to call/leave voicemails on my last few days in England, it was a complete rush getting back from Dublin and I had no credit on my pay as you pikey phone ha ha so couldn't listen! Thank you so much for keeping in touch, it is really nice to hear what is going on at home!
Check out the photos and postcard!
Lots of love
