ive been a busy body these last few days, havent had much of a chance to update, but now im back in bangkok so i'll just let you know what ive done since the last blog.
so since the pineapple plantation and the elephants, we went to the golden triangle, where Burma,Laos and Thailand meet each other. we could have gone into Burma but that would have cut my visa short so we didnt, instead we took a cannal boat ride where we were between Laos and Thailand before going onto Laos land. They were totally set up for tourists with lots of souveniers and such. But i was neat to be in a different country for all of say...30 mins.
The day after we traveled to chiang mai, took about 3 hours and was just about bareable. Once we were there we went to a temple on top of a massive hill. its known as the holiest temples in chiang mai. from the top you could see the city below, its a shame that the smog over shaddowed it, but never mind. The temple its self was rather pretty. All the buildings here seem very decorative and neat to look at.
yesterday was a free choice day, i chose to spend 900baht on a cooking lesson. it was really good. we got to learn how to make simple dishes, so now i have no excuse! all the food we made as well was thai and afterwards we sat down to our feast. And it really was, i still felt full this morning!
last night was our time to travel back to Bangkok. we got a sleeper train and spent 16 hours getting there.
boo
but back in bangkok for the time being, im thinking of heading down to koh samui for a bit, as theres not a great deal left to see in bangkok itself. we'll see
