Hello from Oz

Well Sam and I arrived to a very wet, grey, miserable and cold ( Well I thought it was feeeeeezing) Sydney. I wasnt impressed with the weather one bit when we arrived, especially as it had been so nice down in Melbourne when we left! We are staying with a friend from Bourne, David Jackson and he came and met us from the airport, we;re staying at his flat in Bondi, which is a really cool place. Bondi Beach is HUGE!!!!!

The weather improved though and the sun came out today so we spent the day sightseeing. Sydney is a gorgeous city, I really love it! We went to the Harbour bridge and watched lots of crazy people climbing up and over it!!! And walked round to the Opera House which is spectacular. There are some great views, and we walked around the Botanic Gardens and got some amazing views of the Bridge and Opera House. I've put some more photos up. Also got the ferry to Darling Harbour and had a walk around there. Its such a vibrant place, really great!

Not sure how long we're staying in Sydney, maybe until Saturday and then we will be catching the greyhound Bus to Byron Bay, where it should be lovely and hot! Apparently Surfers Paradise is the place to be, and party so thats where we're heading next. Quite a long journey but sure it will be fun. Tomorrow we're going to do the long walk from Bondi Beach, around to the next beaches and then prob just spend the day on Bondi Beach, hopefully it will ne hot!!!! I dont want my tan to fade, and Sam is getting really mad that she is a little paler than me ;-)

We are going to Manly Beach for the day also i think on Thursday, and then we're going to do a day trip to the Blue Mountains on Friday which is supposed to be stunning.
