Day 18:18/7/12 Our first full day in the jungle! Got a wake-up call at about 4:50am and then had breakfast- fried eggs and toast! Not too jungly! Headed off hiking at about 5:30am. Day 17: 17/7/12 Up at 4:30am for the flight to the jungle! Not a wink of sleep with the brazilians all coming in at various hours of the night. Got to the airport, checked in, had breakfast, got on the plane no hassle at all. Although they did have a security check for our checked suitcases which was weird. Day 16: 16/7/12 Today was our first day off in 16 days, so we ha a very relaxing day! We stayed in bed for a while and enjoyed watching everyone else in the room pack up their stuff and head off early! Today was the day for contacting people so vibered Shell, Alva and Cliona in the morning! Day 15: 15/07/12 Two weeks done!! Today was Macchu Pichu. It was one of the best and the worst days ever- before ye start worrying both myself and Muireann are absolutely fine- not a bother on us. We were collected from the hotel at 5am- we had to drive an hour and a half to the train station in Ollantaytamo and then spend an hour and a half on a train getting to Agua Calientes. Day 14: 14/7/12. It's a long one!! Had a tour of the sacred valley around cusco today. We passed lots of houses with bulls on top if them again- apparently they are to being fertility, love and happiness. Some of them have crosses aswell to show they ate catholic. We found out why some houses aren't finished around puno- they dont want to pay the taxes! In Cusco though they are mostly finished.
