We arrived in London on July 4th around 8:00 am. We were fortunate to be able to check into our hotel at 10:00 so we were able to rest before setting out to get our bearings. Believe it or not, I slept 11 hours last night. Our hotel had problems with their wifi so we had trouble checking email and updating our blog until today.

Walter and I went to see the London Eye today. The ride was amazing! It lasted about 30 minutes and we got to see all of London and got a lot of amazing pictures. Although we took the subway there, we walked back so we wouldn't miss anything. We did stop and tour the Royal Mews and the Queen's Gallery at Buckingham Palace. If we had come in August, we could have toured the actual Palace!!!

Well it is 8:05 and we are setting out to eat and see what London is like at night!!
