Biiieeeennnnnn!
So Brasil came and went and we are now in London. Very odd to be in the same place we started off from and thank god we are flying to Coruña tomorrow to get over the jet lag in España and see our friends and family before coming back to daily life. Here goes the last summary of these great past five months. Sao Paolo highlights:Finally seeing Henrique and John alter 5 months and travelling around Brasil with them. Meeting Henrique's amazing family and friends who have looked after us like royalty with lots of love, food and laughter. Oh! And all the liquors Henrique's dad makes that are really yummy. Seeing Flag again and how good he looks, it goes to show that you can meet up with old friends when you least expect it. For Uxio seeing Alfonso Paramio and for Lola getting to meet him, we can't wait until he comes to see us. Walking around the centre of Sao Paolo with Henrique and his friends. All of them taking photos and being amazed as tourists whilst John Uxio and Lola walked around confused as to what they should be looking at. Having lunch with father Ricardo and driving round the favela with him. The views of Sao Paolo from the favela and from the Santander building. La Loca, trigueiriños although we still don't know what power it hides and the power we know Fabrizio does have reading coffee leaves. Salvador de BahÃa highlights:Our guide Mario who talked non stop but all he said was the pretty obvious stuff we could see with our own eyes. Those are school children our for a walk, school children come round here for a walk, they are out of school to come for a walk?..Walking around Pelourinhos, The convent turned amazing hotel, the viewes from restaurants with terraces, the kids asking for money and then acting out all kinds of dramas, the churches, Candonble, the party in the street that surprised us, sharing amazing food between the four of us and Bohemia beer. The boat to Morro de Sao Paolo where we all felt completely sickMorro de Sao Paolo highlights:Everything.Sunny days in the beach. The amazing rooms in our hotel with hot tubs, windows out to the sea, an amazing smell, beautiful colours. At last a honey moon room!!The beaches and how much the sea changad from day to day. The sun, full moon and shooting stars.Pasteles for lunch and amazing dinners. Including our Lobster feast. Caipirinha and more Bohemia.Subset in 'el sitio'. The people. The little aeroplane for 6 people that flew us back to Salvador, the views and not feeling sick. RÃo de Janeiro highlights:Finding out that the Christ of Corcovado is a new wonder of the world since you wonder when you will be able to see it. Our dinner in Rodizio, anyone up for the one in Bayswater?Walking around Copacabana, especially when my name is Lola. The Pao de Azucar and choosing that spot to say goodbye to John and Henrique?until next week. What we are sad about:Not having had time to visit Paula, Saraswati y Simón. We are sorry, we will have to come again to see you specifically. Finishing our travels and therefore our blog. Maybe we should just carry it on with daily life so that everyone can keep in touch. Otherwise we can take up Lucy's generous offer of going travelling for a while if we put the money together, just to carry on with the blog of course Lupi. PS. Henrique, John and whoever has been with us in the past two weeks, feel free to add anything if we have forgotten it. . PS2. Thank you so much to all for virtually travelling with us, keeping us informed, making us laugh and in general letting us know we were not so far! Millions of smuaks. Pps. We hope to see you all in the next few weeks between Galicia, Madrid and London. Huuuuurrrraaaayyyy.
