Coming to Bangkok for a few days has been a great way of putting off going back home!
Enjoyed the couple of pre-arranged tours to the various temples and to Kanchaniburi....where the bridge on the River Kwei is/was (a couple of hours out of Bangkok). This proved to be a bit 'touristy' but the small, dignified Jeath War Museum and the war g…

Just hop on a passing kangaroo... Believe it or not... It was absolutely freezing at times... But here in Bangkok and near the end, it just the opposite.. Home in a couple of days and reality is starting to bite!!! Shifts...hmmmm...what are they again?

re: On The Road, Western Australialogan Yes, I've had a terrific time and yes, I took to OZ like an emu to water!! Now in Bangkok and home in a couple of days to rest and recover.... My next book will actually be called Rip Van Logan...
re: Margaret River, Western Australialogan It's been a real test of survival....yes, there were times when I flagged but here, in Bangkok and near the end, I can only say the spirit of human endurance is indomitable! Bear Ghrylls would be proud of me!! Of course I can remember where I've been! (Bangkok is in the south of Australia...right?)
