My second trip to the East Coast!!

aug.1 On Saturday my nana, papa, brother, and i started are trip to the East Coast. Today we drove to Columus,Ohio and stayed with my uncle Jeff and Jennifer's house. We stopped at the Indianapolis 500 race track. So my brother could see it.

Aug.2. On sunday we had a cook from the country club come and give us omlets to eat and then we went outside to say our goodbyes. We left and were headed to Pennsylvania. When we were driving we went through 4 tunnels that were reallu long. We also went through the Appalachian Mountains. They were very cool.

Aug.3. On Monday, we were in Philadelphia. The first thing that we did was go to the liberty bell. Whrn we were done with that we went on a double decker bus tour. We saw a lot of things. After that we weny to Betsy Ross's house and the burial site of Benjamin Franklin. The last thing we did was go see the Statue of Rocky and the staira we ran. We learned that he only ran the last eight steps amd someone else ran all the others. There is a total of 53 steps in all.

Aug.4. Today we left Philadelphia and went to Camden, New Jersey. We went to the USS New Jersey Battleship. One thing that surprised me was that we had the same tour guide that i had last time i was there!

Aug.5. On wednesday we went to the Empore state Building. We had to wait in a few lines and we weny to the 86th floor which is the observation deck. On the deck we could see New York City, Brookyln,and New Jersey. After we left the Empire State Building we went to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. We also got the chance to walk through Times Square. When people were waiting to get into the shows, it was very busy but very cool at the same time.

Aug.6. On Thursday,we went to Macy's an bought and looked at things. Then we got on a double decker bus and toured around some more. We went to Ground Zero. It was very sad we got to see all the construction going on. We hopped on another bus and toured some more. We got off and went to Central Park. We rode on a horse carraige and got off. We also went to the Plaza hotel and there is marble floors and walls. That waa are busy day.

Aug.7. On Friday we had to do a lot of walking. The first thing that we did was get on a bus and headed to Brookyln Bridge. The tour guide on the bus liked to have assistants to help her so i said sure. Every time we were at a stop i announced the stop. It was kind of fum and kinda boreing. We walked the bridge and then we were headed to the trump tower. When we got there, i remembered everything i saw last time.

Aug. 8. On saturday we left New Jersey where we stayed for 4 days. When we were in the car my papa told us that a helicopter and a small plane collided and crashed in the Hudson River. And the accident happened very close to where we were staying. We headed to Buffalo, New York. When we got there we went to Canada and looked at the falls with colored lights on them.

Aug.9. On sunday, we went to Niagra Falls and went in a boat ride. We got drenched! When we were done with that we went and looked at the rapids. They were unbelievable.

Aug.10. On monday we came home :-( and our trip was now over.
