So I was lucky enough to receive a 48 hour layover this month to one of my favourite places in the world. I could honestly see myself living in Paris. It reminds me of London, but with much better dressed people and less weirdos and tramps.
On my adventure this time I went to the louvre museum where I saw the Mona Lisa pairing and the Venus statue. Both were highly disappointing to be honest. The Mona Lisa more than the Venus.
We also went to the love locks bridge where I padlocked my love for myself! Oh the joys of being single!
After a long walk to the Eiffel Tower we got in a cab back to the hotel after taking photos and trying to find cheap souvenirs (which we couldn't).
Overall I can't fault Paris. Although after so much walking my legs are so tired. I will definitely be back again and hopefully my French will be stronger next time.
