Day two of the Journey. Last night I got to Childress, Tx. I had intended to get further, but got held up by a huge wreck just outside of Childress. Nice dinner and quiet night at the hotel. This morning I was off and running. Past Wichita Falls to Henrietta, Texas. I went through town. Lots of memories of growing up. What a different era! Then through Decatur to Denton to meet up with my brother John. (I used to be the Big Brother!) Finally to Plano to meet up with David Green and Trisha. David and I have been friends since 4th grade. I won't tell you how long that is! We went to a wonderful dinner at the Shops at Legacy. The restaurant is the Half Shells. I had a wonderful and unique version of fish tacos. Tomorrow sightseeing around the area. More to come.
