Hello everyone, I am sorry that it has been so long, unfortunately getting internet set up in our room has been more difficult than we anticipated. Anyway this is what I've been doing:

I left the UK on 10th December an flew for 10 hours to Vancouver. During the journey I took advantage of the selection of on-flight films. Firstly I watched Gran Torino, which I found very boring and was rather frustrated that I had wasted 2 hours of the 10 watching it. Secondly I watched a film called District 9 which I enjoyed a lot, third film was The Quantum of Solace and finally I watched the Pixar film UP again very good, of course I socialised with the people in the group. We arrived in Vancouver and travelled to a Hostel where we slept over. The next morning we got on a coach and drove for 2 hours to Whistler where it was -14 degrees C. Over the past week I have skied for 2 days due to our ski passes arriving late, I have sorted out my bank acount, spent a large amount on Skis, boots, poles, helmet and goggles, and we have made a Sofa of Snow (Snowfa). There is a 'blue' ski run from my accomodation to the village, climbing up the slope after a late night is a lot of effort so we had the great idea to build a Snowfa exactly half way (hidden at the side of the slope) for a pit stop on the way. I'm having an amazing time and will speak very soon. X
