The picture shows an art project by KLK featuring the history that we studied at home. JLK especially helped with making up trivia questions -- hers tended to be too hard for me! Here's a game that we made up for the kids. We'll see how they feel about doing it, might be a little too educational:
2013 France Trip Game Sheet
This game is just for fun, not a competition. There are no winners or losers. Anyone can play, including adults. In this game, you earn points by either answering questions or doing certain things during our trip. For the questions, it is OK to look up information or to ask other people. You even can answer some of the questions before we leave, if you want to do some research at home.
See how many points you can earn! You get one point for each activity or question. To earn points for saying things, you have to say them to a European person, not just to each other. For the activities, you earn a point every time that you do them. So, if you say, "merci," to 20 different people, you earn 20 points! If you repeat the activity, use tally marks to keep track of your points.
