COLCA CANYON FIRST DAY We were picked up at 6 in the morning from our hotel by a representative of the agency and drove for about 5 hours to the Cabonaconde. Along this journey we drove over a pass that is over 4,800 m /15,748 Ft. Took a night bus to Lima from Huanchaco which took 15 hours. There we waited for 5 hours for our connecting bus to Nasca which was another 8 hours.We arrived in Nasca around nine in the evening and the owner of our hostel was at the bus station to pick us up. We arrived in Vilcabamba after a 10 hour journey.Vilcabamba is a really beautiful little village with really gorgeous mountains and lakes.We were very lucky to get the great weather that we got here.We went to our hostel which was a block away from the bus station and that block pretty much accounted for the whole village.
